François-Xavier BOUCHART (1946-1993), an architectural and landscape photographer who notably worked with the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Parc de la Villette, spent 7 years working on the sites of writer Marcel Proust. He also documented Belleville from 1968 to 1975. These images were projected in an audio-visual entitled "Belleville, suite et fin" in the 1977 French Design exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
