From 1967 to 1977, two young photographers have been wandering the streets of the working-class Paris, mainly those of Belleville and Ménilmontant. They documented the hustle and bustle of local life, and the urban fabric in the midst of a metamorphosis in which buildings and colorful shopfronts gave way to charmless low-income housing.
