Globe and celestial sphere, carried out by Mentelle on the command of Louis XVI in 1781 for the education of the dauphin of France. It is the oldest sphere in relief. The two hemispheres which wrap it present in their concavity the celestial vault. Paris, museum of African, Oceanian and Amerindian Arts (former museum of colonies). 1935.
